We are seeking a highly ambitious and driven Financial Manager to join our Finance Team. This is a new position, where you will manage the high quality of some of our financial reports and contributing to improving our overall financial performance.
As the Financial Manager at Northern Offshore Services, you will play a central role in a company that is on a growth journey, with innovation, service, and sustainability as clear focus areas. You will have a team of eight dedicated employees, including accounting economists, finance assistants, financial controllers, and business controllers, to support you. The department handles ongoing accounting and reporting for 11-13 companies.
In the role of CFO, you will be responsible for leading and developing the finance function. This involves overall responsibility for all financial and administrative aspects, as well as financial reporting to the board and owners. You will also have a quality and coordination responsibility for the group’s accounting, process development, and improvement of routines within the department.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for monthly and annual financial statements, as well as the annual report, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with local accounting principles and group-wide directives.
- Initiate and drive efficiency and change projects, and develop routines and processes around accounting and reporting.
- Manage cash flow and oversee liquidity planning in the companies.
- Ensure that internal invoicing between companies is handled correctly by the department.
- Responsible for ongoing monthly eliminations, so experience in group accounting is advantageous.
- Proactively assist the organization and management team with analysis and presentations of relevant key performance indicators and reports.
- Coordinate with the company’s auditors.
- System responsibility for the Jeeves business system and the BI tool Insight.
- Lead and coach employees in all aspects of ongoing accounting, payments, and various types of reporting.
In the role of Finance Manager, you are part of the management team for Northern Offshore Services and report to the CFO of the group, Northern Offshore Group. You are based at the company’s headquarters in Saltholmen, Gothenburg, and closely collaborate with the Group’s CFO.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a candidate who is a qualified economist or equivalent, specializing in accounting or auditing, with relevant work experience for the position, preferably in an international environment. You have a good understanding of local (Swedish and/or Danish) accounting and tax regulations, and it is advantageous if you have experience in group accounting and transfer pricing. Additionally, you have excellent communication skills and can speak and write in both Swedish and English fluently. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience working with Jeeves or a strong understanding of business systems is valued. Given the managerial aspect of the role, prior experience in personnel management is highly beneficial.
