YOUR PROFILE

Technical Sales Manager is a senior position within N-O-S Ltd. We are looking for a driven and proactive person to join our team. Are you a passionate and self-motivated person who thrives in a fast-moving environment, then this is the opportunity for you.

You will provide analysis of market opportunities, propose sales tactics, and support the management of existing customer accounts as well as, proactively working towards developing relationships with new customers. There will be a focus on building strong key relationships with existing and prospective clients. Regular visits to our client’s headquarters and sites is an essential part of the job.

This is a key role in positively contributing to the achievement of the business strategy to grow our customer-based ambitious targets for sales revenue as well as customer satisfaction. The base will primarily be in the UK, but business travels outside the UK will be required.

To be successful in this role we see that you enjoy working independently and have the ability to structure your work in a thorough way. As a person you are service minded, social and have good communication skills. We are looking for a person who is creative and curious, who has a passion for sales and a desire to deliver value to our clients. REQUIREMENTS

  • We are looking for a candidate who has sales experience or experience from the shipping industry – preferably in offshore wind and/or the CTV market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Knowledge in BIMCO contracts is preferred but not required.
  • Driver’s licence.

YOUR TASKS

  • Meet existing and potential customers on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain N-O-S client base.
  • Participate in exhibitions and seminars.
  • Contact person for ongoing contracts including administrating relevant documentation.
  • Participate in week/monthly meetings with clients.
  • Participate in external client vessel inspections.
  • Promote company culture, values, and vision.
  • Follow site specific procedures and together with N-O-S back-office monitor and improve project and vessel performance.
  • Responsible for submitting project specific tenders.
  • Work and develop the company’s routines with present and new customers, develop meeting statistics, update the company’s CRM system, etc.
  • Report future predictions, new, present, and potential customers, development of future sales possibilities.
  • Develop new solutions and methods to maintain our quality and profitably standards.
  • Responsible that the correct price and terms are negotiated.
  • Provide sales and chartering support during non-office hours.
  • Attend operational meetings with clients on ongoing projects.
  • Frequent travels to meet with customers and attend industry events will be required.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • This position is permanent, starting with a six-month probation period, and will start as soon as possible. Location: Conwy (UK) or homebased in the UK.
