M/V Traveller is a 25m designed crew transfer vessel built in Norway, purpose built and designed for the offshore wind industry.

M/V Traveller is a 25 m crew transfer vessel with 24 pax seating. It has large deck space, 70 m2 in the front and 30 m2 in the aft. The vessel is able to carry 20 tonnes in total.  The vessel has an upgraded propulsion system that feature the proven and thoughly tested 4-engine concept (Volvo Penta IPS), offering maximum reliability to the customers. M/V Traveller is prepared for N-O-S Hybrid Technhology. The Hybrid Technology means that the batteries, engines and generators work in collaboration to provide energy to the vessel. Thus, enabling possibilites for large fuel savings. The vessel are equipped with N-O-S patented fender.

The NOS Fender

The patented, N-O-S-developed fender is revolutionizing the CTV market.

The fender has been designed and developed by the N-O-S in-house development team since 2011. The fender has undergone extensive testing, which has resulted in markedly improved CTV performance. The work to improve and develop the fender construction is ongoing.

Vessels fitted with the N-O-S fender perform better in high seas than those equipped with a standard fender.
The fender’s high U-shaped construction enables, above all, safer transfers, improved comfort thanks to lower vibration levels, lower fuel consumption and lessened wear on the vessel machinery.

The fender construction and materials increase the docking surface, creating greater friction and thus a better grip. This means that our fender immobilisms the vessel better than a standard fender – which makes all the difference in difficult weather conditions.

Today, the characteristic yellow fender visible on many of the vessels in the N-O-S fleet has developed into a five-part fender which allows for easy replacement of any parts that become worn.

The N-O-S fender can be adapted to suit any type of CTV and to fit the various safety distances used in different parks and at different boat landings.
