Duties
As a Master on board one of our vessels, you have ultimate responsibility for the crew and passengers on board. The Master develops and follows procedures on board the vessel together with the crew and manages and allocates work among the staff. You will have the opportunity to operate vessels a lot, which requires a high level of navigation and maneuvering skills in a variety of situations. Masters are the face of the company and are responsible for contact and follow-ups with customers on site. Masters ensure that the vessel is operated safely and efficiently in accordance with internal and external systems requirements. The Master on board has freedom within the responsibility of their role and can have a say in the work that takes place on board.
Your profile
You must have the ability to cooperate with your colleagues and the ability to express yourself in English, orally and in writing. In the work, you are expected to act and make independent decisions and possess good interpersonal skills.
Required documents: COC STCW II/3 or higher, STCW certificates, ECDIS generic, medical certificate, UK passport/legal right to work in the UK
Good to have documents: GOC, Medical Care, Adv.FF, Slinger Banksman, IMDG
