As a Mate you will be responsible for the daily transport of technicians and spare parts for the offshore wind farms in Europe. You are going to be an important person in order to create the highest standard of professional service for our customers. You will also have to cooperate with our onshore personnel.

DUTIES
A Mate on board our vessels is first and foremost a member of the deck team. A Mate’s duties largely consist of ensuring safe transfers, helping out with administrative tasks, and taking care of onboard maintenance (e.g. repairs, painting, etc.). As a Mate, you have the operational responsibility for checking deck equipment and ensuring that it is in standard condition. The Mate is the Master’s right-hand man, and is responsible for helping out when it comes to navigation, publications, charts, etc. The Mate may also be required to assist the Master in navigating and operating the vessel. The onboard crews are small, consisting of between two and five crew members, depending on the size of the vessel, which means that Mates have similar duties to Sailors.
