REQUIREMENTS
- Technical background in Electro/Automation.
- Proven experience as a Ship Electrician or in a similar role, with a robust background in naval or industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and take responsibility for work outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle complex challenges in maritime electrical maintenance.
- Strong team player with effective collaboration skills in multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Marine/Offshore/Shipbuilding (an advantage).
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe and work irregular hours
YOUR TASKS
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on various electrical systems, including diesel engines, hybrid systems, control circuits, and other maritime electrical equipment.
- Conduct service interventions such as troubleshooting, modifications, upgrades, and technical follow-ups on operational equipment.
- Perform insulation measurements and diagnose earth faults for repairs.
- Engage in systematic fault diagnosis to ensure timely resolution and prevent operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop and enhance preventive maintenance processes.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call duty roster to promptly respond to emergency calls and restore vessel operations.
- Two or three-week shift rotations with corresponding leave periods.
- Availability for 24/7 emergency responses.
